Allegan Advantage
Allegan Advantage is a program similar to ECAC, but doesn't have the application process and the 3 year commitment. This program allows students to take the same Lake Michigan College courses with the ECAC students ALA CARTE style. Students can choose from the list of courses and take up to 5 courses per semester. Courses are offered at ACATEC in the Lake Michigan College campus. Students can choose to attend in the AM or PM session or take advantage of online courses. See qualifications below. In Fall 2021, juniors need a 3.0 GPA and seniors need a 2.6 GPA.
Dual Enrollment Opportunities at other college/Universities
Students can attend any college that is within driving distance from Fennville. Students typically take courses at Lake Michigan College (LMC) South Haven campus, Hope College, Grand Valley State University Holland campus, Grand Rapids CC or Davenport University Holland campus. FHS hosts two college courses at the high school with Davenport. Students can also ride the tech center bus to the Allegan Tech Center (ACATEC) and take LMC courses there as well. Internet courses are also available. See link below for more details!
