Next Steps:
Today - April 19 – The PowerSchool Scheduler will close on April 19. Until this date, students and parents can log into PowerSchool and adjust their schedule if needed.
July – Mrs. Coffindaffer will start creating schedules using the courses each student requested.
August – Students will receive their tentative schedule in the mail.
August – Tentative SCHEDULE CHANGE REQUEST WINDOW. Please see the letter attached with your schedule in August for the link.
Please note, students may not receive their 1st choice requests for various reason, such as:
1. The course you requested is FULL and your schedule was rearranged. Enrollment numbers often change offerings as well. Whether a course was too small or too big! We do our best to keep numbers balanced for size. This may influence your elective choices.
2. A teacher made a recommendation that rearranged your schedule.
3. The master schedule often changes between March and July. This is due to teacher changes and accommodating class sizes.
4. Your schedule had to be adjusted to ensure you have your graduation requirements met.
What to do if you are unhappy with your schedule:
1. Submit a Schedule Change Request electronic form in August. See info on letter in August for the date.
2. If you have any concerns or are interested in a course or opportunity that we do not offer, don’t be afraid to ask! We will work with you to find something that works for you!
3. Email Mrs. Coffindaffer at [email protected]
4. Call the HS 269-722-3444. Mrs. Coffindaffer returns the last week of August.
5. Do not wait until Open House or the 1st day of school.
