Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. Khan focus on skill mastery to help learners establish strong foundations, so there's no limit to what they can learn next!
Academy can be used to help prepare students for the SAT. It has been noted that 20 hours of practice on Khan Academy is associated with an average of a 115-point score increase from the PSAT/NMSQT to the SAT.
PSAT scores are reported on the Collegeboard website and through the linked accounts betweek Khan Academy and Collegeboard, these scores get transferred to Khan Academy to provide individualized practice for students.
Students who have NOT taken the PSAT or who have NOT linked their accounts, they can still get practice through Khan Academy through taking initial diagnostic quizzes. Khan Academy will then use the quiz scores to provide the individualized practice for these students.
Khan Academy does not have an online practice for the PSAT. They recommend that students who are preparing for the PSAT (and not the SAT) still practice for the SAT as they are similar. If students are wanting to practice for the PSAT, Khan Academy does have 2 full-length printable PSAT tests for practice which can be scored on the app by taking a picture of the scoresheet.
